New Horizons Learning Group has partnered up with Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s Over the Edge event. New Horizons has committed to being a Toss the Boss sponsor, raising $3,000 to support our veteran services, bringing strength, stability, and self-reliance to veterans in need of a decent place to live in Riverside, Corona, Norco, Jurupa Valley, and Moreno Valley. Upon reaching their $3,000 goal, Kevin Landry, CEO of New Horizons Learning Group, and Bill Sullivan, Principal Instructor at New Horizons have agreed to be “tossed” and rappel 16 stories down Mount Rubidoux Manor, the tallest building in Riverside!

“We’re adamant about supporting our veterans and active duty military. It goes beyond training them for the next step in their career, it’s about making them successful after the years they’ve dedicated to us. Participating with groups like Wounded Warriors, Habitat for Humanity, and Over the Edge make an impact in veteran’s lives. My nerves going Over the Edge to rappel are nothing compared to what our veterans experience during their service. We keep pushing ourselves and our company to grow and get better, to push it to the edge, and to strive for success. Besides, I can check that off my bucket list.”

Kevin Landry, CEO New Horizons Learning Group

In addition to raising funds with conventional fundraising means, New Horizons plans to do an incentive donation program where employees will be encouraged to excel and, upon meeting certain goals, money will be donated on behalf of their teams.
