3/29/12: Wells Fargo 160th

Red shirt Wells Fargo volunteers attack! What does 160 years mean for Wells Fargo in the Inland Empire to Habitat for Humanity Riverside? It means Habitat Riverside gets another volunteer work force out on one of our most needed projects. De La Vista needed volunteers desperately, and Wells Fargo answered the call. Volunteers planted trees, drought resistant shrubs and a vegetable/fruit garden. They laid river rock and spread decomposed granite. They even installed an earth-friendly drip water irrigation system. Joining them in this volunteer effort were new Habitat homeowners Sergio and Phillip Nolasco. This father and son team truly sweated while they earned some Sweat Equity. Thanks to Wells Fargo, Sergio (a pastor and a leisure gardener) is looking forward to tending and enjoying his families plants for many years to come.
