Saturday saw our beloved 37th
Street home, sponsored by Thrivent for Lutherans, begin the day with a bare cement
slab and end with all of its beautiful walls fully framed and erected because
of the spectacular teamwork that launched our first of many volunteer-worker
days. Toro, Walmart, Thrivent for Lutherans and Inland Valley framers produced
this hardworking team of craftsman and muscle-bound labor.
Habitat for
Humanity Riverside's partnership with the Riverside YWCA to constructa new residential treatment facility that
will be owned by the YWCA and afford them the opportunity to serve additional
women and provide additional transitional living training and support is nearly completed.
