Centennial High School Volunteers on their First Project!

Centennial High School Volunteers on their First Project!

Habitat for Humanity Riverside was happy to have students from Centennial High School’s newly established Campus Chapter participate in their first home preservation project on Saturday. The group of students and their advisors showed up bright and early with their uniform t-shirts on and waivers in hand. They appeared enthusiastic to begin the day of painting.

Our volunteers were not shy to tackle the project. They grabbed rollers and were off to the races! In between paint brushes and laughter, the home quickly looked revitalized.

By noon, the home was completed with a beautiful coat of fresh paint. The homeowner came out and was amazed. She could not believe how different it looked from that morning. Thank you Centennial High School for volunteering your time to help a community member preserve the look of their home! We look forward to seeing you in future projects throughout the year.
